Order
Shipping. Because of increasing shipping costs, as well as the large size of most of our trees, we are, for now, no longer accepting orders to be shipped.
Ordering is very informal. Because we sell out of so many items during the sales season, we’ve found it simpler to just start a dialog about what you want. WE DO NOT HAVE AN ORDER FORM. Simply let me know in an email (dagenames@gmail.com or use the “Contact me” form at the bottom of this page) what you think you want. This is also a perfect time to ask questions about what would be best for your situation and goals. After you’ve decided what you want I’ll work up an invoice and send the first draft to you with costs and you can change or accept it. If you’re not a previous customer I will probably ask for a minimum 20% deposit to hold your order. Then we let you know when we start digging and work out a plan for you to pick up.
Picking up orders. Orders will need to be picked up here at the nursery. When plants are ready we will work with you to find a convenient time for pick up. Also, there will be designated pick up days in fall and spring that will be coupled with free workshops on planting and first year care of fruit plants. (If you have an order, you will be notified of these days, and if you don’t have an order, you will still be welcome—keep track of our Ames Orchard & Nursery facebook page for notices for these workshops.)
We occasionally bring trees to the winter Fayetteville Farmers Market. Keep track of our facebook page to find out when we’re coming to market.
