Spicy and aromatic, excellent for fresh eating, apple butter and highly regarded for cider. This is probably the original Limbertwig with the the distinctive juicy, yellow flesh. VERY disease resistant to all the major apple diseases, including rust. As the tree ages and begins bearing, it assumes a beautiful “weeping” form. Ripens late September-early October and stores well. This year we have it on MM.111 semi-dwarfing rootstock as well as seedling rootstock.
