Bevan’s Favorite
An attractive, red striped heirloom (ca. 1842 New Jersey). Flesh is crisp, juicy, and sweet. Resistant to scab, mildew, fire blight, and rust and early enough (mid-late July) to escape the worst of the summer rots. Brought to our attention by Jesse Henderson, West Fork, AR. Available on MM.111 semi-dwarfing rootstock.
